Food was interesting and my husband loved his dish of Slow Cooked Goat. He was bummed they were out of camel though. Maybe next time. Would love to see a vegan friendly dish on the menu and more vegetarian options. The cocktails were good and the tea menu is amazing. So many options! Try the Daydream which is a chocolate infused tea that is yummy. My husband had the Turkish Coffee with cream and he was in love. The restaurant is very atmospheric. The only issue is that seating whilst looking good is not all that comfortable. It is metal outdoor furniture in doors. The candles and the music help set the scene though.

What was to be an exciting culinary experience soon turned into a very disappointing and average experience!

We ordered 2 starters which were served on the same plate, then our 2 entrees were served on the same plate. These entrees were tasteless and boring and because of this, extremely overpriced.

Then came the beef and sweet potato tagine... a tasteless beef stew in a cold bowl with a few deep fried sweet potato chips sitting on top. Absolute CRAP!!

Overall, a very disappointing experience.

We recently had a "girls'" weekend in Airlie Beach. All well travelled mature ladies!! we were delighted to find Cha'mah. the decor is fabulous..moroccan deep colours lights cushions and cushions. the menu is new and exciting. I had teh spicey sausage and butter bean mash (YUM!!) and others had the lamb tagine. Our vegetarian was well caterd for with the spicey fish cakes. For deserts we had one of everything and shared! My favourite was teh almond cake others liked stuffed dates and Moroccan Mess. We had a jug and then another, of the very palatble Citrus Sparkle (sparkling wine, citrus juice, agram and mint. Staff friendly and helpful. Wonderful to find a "different" venue in the region and cant wait to take my husband (great excuse for another trip to Airlie!!)

Cannot fault this restaurant. If you want steak & chips don't eat here. Original Morrocan food, fantastic cocktails, and great relaxing atmosphere. We had one of the best chefs on the Whitsundays with us and he was impressed.
