Best place to eat in Airley. We ate here twice, both times food and service were great. Fab location, cool decor and tasty modern bistro cuisine in pretty decent portions. We ate at several places on our visit and this was a cut above the others.

Went there a couple of times, staff is very friendly, food is ok, a bit expensive, coffee is great but hot chocolate is not good at all they use chocolate sauce instead of nice cocoa or nice chocolate, i know this cause i have seen when they do it.

Fantastic open kitchen. Chef Mark not only produces amazing food but he keeps the waiting staff on their toes. Staff friendly and all seem to really get on and really enjoy working there. Great wine list. The food is different, fresh and exciting.

Rainy saturday night in Airlie Beach made much better by great staff (Ashlee and Kaz in particular) at Mr Bones. Their food recommendations were spot on and we allowed for a bit of flexibility around the wine list as the local wine supply is a major chain monopoly in a small resort). Not only was our food good, the staff had bright and helpful personalities with senses of humour. While we were there, they delightfully and respectfully managed a couple who ordered an anchovy pizza without anchovies and kept a "socially untidy" couple out of the way of the main diners while ensuring they were fed and enticed to low alcohol alternatives - so professionally that I doubt they will ever work it out. We didn't try pizza but had 5 selections from the tapas menu which were all vg-excellent. We both loved the calamari salad had a lovely zing with some gentle chilli, mint and coriander. My partner loved the porterhouse as his second favourite. I thought the the Labne was also outstanding and while I didnt expect the confit of duck in a spring roll format- it worked for me.
