Owner description: 'ISail Whitsundays was founded by Luke Mairs in 2007 with one simple goal: To provide one of the best sailing trips of the Whitsunday Islands. Since then the business has grown and now 2 boats showcase Luke's genuine passion for sailing and love of all things aquatic. Everyone at ISail Whitsundays prides themselves on personalised service aboard quality boats. Each tour sails, visits Whitehaven Beach including Hill Inlet Lookout and snorkels in at least 2 of the best fringing coral reef locations. Sailing with a small group offers many advantages. Boats taking less than 13 guests are allowed full access to the marine park, meaning ISail's boats can visit the best whitsunday locations whilst avoiding the crowds. There are 2 boats within the company: The 14.9m long yacht Blizzard and the 14.2m long catamaran On Ice. ISail Whitsundays offers day charters and overnight tours. All tours depart and return via Northern Abell Point Marina in Airlie Beach Queensland Australia.

My Fiance and I went on Iceberg in August 2013. We loved every minute of our trip. Ben and Sean were fantastic! They made us feel welcome immediately and were very informative. We had originally wanted to go on 'Blizzard' however they were booked out - we certainly weren't disappointed with Iceberg. The weather was perfect and Ben and Sean took us to fantastic spots. We got dropped off at Whitehaven Beach and were left to our own devices for a couple of hours which was fantastic. Sean arranged with all of us to meet back at a certain spot and we then went for a short hike up to the lookout. While out on the water we saw so many whales (some very close to the yacht), a dugong, dolphins, amazing landscapes and just had the best time relaxing on board and chatting to the other people onboard. We were fed very well, there was plenty of food to go around and it was yummy! We went snorkelling in a few bays and swam with 'Elvis' (a huge Humphead Maori Wrasse) in Blue Pearl Bay which was great! We felt safe the whole time we were in the water as Ben would have the tinny close by just in case anyone wanted to jump out of the water for a break.
We were only away for 2 days/1 night but it felt like we're were away for a week we were so relaxed! It was absolute heaven! We would highly recommend Isail Adventures to anyone who is wanting a fantastic and memorable trip in the Whitsundays. It's worth every single cent!

We had a private charter of 9 people on the On Ice and it was the best possible experience we could have had. Dave and Marissa were our crew members and not only were they extremely welcoming and helpful, but they took the extra time and effort to make sure we felt comfortable and relaxed and made the most of our time on the boat. FOr those who were a bit apprehensive around water or undertaking activities they had never tried, Dave and Marissa were straightforward made made us feel safe and relaxed. The food was extremely tasty and in big portions - one of our fears were that we would be underfed, but it was the opposite! Pretty much a brilliant trip made even better by the brilliant hosts.

We sailed with Dave & Marissa on the beautiful catamaran, On Ice.
Having been to the Whitsundays a number of times, I knew what to expect and despite the inclement weather Dave and Marissa were brilliant hosts.

They made all of the guests feel welcomed and comfortable from the very start.

The food was plentiful, fresh and delicious and they catered well for those with special requirements.

My boyfriend and I had a private double cabin with an ensuite and it lived up to our expectations (although it would have been nice if it was air-conditioned - ;-) )

David made it a point to be concerned for our safety at all times and seemed to genuinely want to ensure we had an enjoyable stay.

The snorkelling was a highlight despite the overcast conditions. My boyfriend particularly enjoyed the care and attention David took in applying Vaseline to his moustache, to provide a seal for the mask.

We were able to use the boat's Sea-Doo for snorkelling and also got expert tuition in stand-up paddle boarding.

I would definitely recommend this boat.

Hint: ensure you take some cash onboard as there is some water, soft drink and chocolates you can purchase and we got caught out at the end of the trip with no money!

What an amazing trip with the knowledgeable Captain Dave and Sophia. We went on the 2 day, 2 night sail aboard this luxury yacht --- had a cabin with an ensuite and felt totally spoilt the whole trip. Great sailing, good food and other 8 guests were great company.
Spent some time at Whitehaven Beach (which is unbelievable), beach time at a second beach as well, snorkelling in two locations. Protective gear was provided and snorkel gear if you did not have your own to swim about and see the beautiful coral of the Great Barrier Reef as well as the multitites of fish.
Even saw a Maori Wrasse --- the gentle giant -- so beautiful!!
Saw huge turtles, snorkelling amongst them.
Even saw a pair of pilot whales of which Captain Dave said he had not seen for 3 years.
When the winds were good Captain Dave hiked up the sails and we did some great sailing.
Loved it -- definately a highlight of our Australian trip.

great catamaran experience. Marissa does her best to ensure you're fed (good food for a boat!) and the boat is clean. Dave the skipper ensures you're safe and that you participate in the activities.

we snorkelled a few times.
paddle boarded.
visited White Haven Beach (beyond words)
star gazed and told stories at night.
had drinks on a sand bar beach.

of course, the small cabin washrooms are a bit of a drag, but it is a tiny compromise for such a great excursion.
