We have eaten here on a number of visits to Airlie and found food and service consistent. Great drinks and cocktails. Find the ordering system strange having to get up from table and go out to the takeaway section after being seated by staff. Always a great vib about the place, good atmosphere.

We went for dinner and my girlfriend had the atlantic salmon which was cooked perfectly and I had the fish and chips again was lovely.

However, I just dont understand the concept. You firstly go and order your food, that I have no issues with, then you go and order drinks at the bar and this is where the problems start. We ordered a starter and due to the severe length of time the drinks took to order, rum and coke on the rocks and a lemon lime bitters, by the time I returned to the table the starter had already been sat there for 5 minutes. We sipped the drinks for the whole meal as not to miss out on eating our dinner by queing for more drinks.

If you like good fish then go eat here but dont expect to have a lovely relaxed meal. Im sorry but it wont happen.

We happen to be in Airlie during wet season. It rained, we could not swim in the sea, but hey, we found this great restaurant. The food was fresh and tasty, and cocktails really good. Try the seafood chowder, it's very very good,

Service situation is a bit poor (you need to walk up to a packed bar to order a drink or queue to order your food) when you are paying circa $30 for mains and $16 for cocktails.

Food is nice but slightly overpriced and again, they could get away with it if service was better.

Go here for a pre-dinner cocktail but maybe dine elsewhere.
