Description: Il Forno is a family run business with a new management. At Il Forno we specialise in Roman style Pizza which has a soft but crunchy thin base. We follow the traditional way of Pizza making which does not grant the use of any machinery for the handling of the dough, not even a rolling pin can be used. We do it the old way, by hand! At Il Forno you will find a little corner of Italy where the owner and staff are Italians. To ensure a true Italian Pizza to our customers we import a lot of our ingredients and the local ingredients we use are made by Italians here in Australia.

I ate with at II Forno twice during my most recent visit to Palm Cove. The pizza's are very good and offer good value, and the lasagne is also very good - which my 5 year old really enjoyed. Service is good, orders taken soon after we were seated on the outside terrace with the food turning up soon afterward - For a casual night out, II Forno offers good value and I'll be back next year.

Visited Il Forno and ordered a couple of pizzas, nice thin bases and wood fired smoky taste but toppings are extremely light on even for this style of pizza. With prices around the $20 mark not value for money.

I have been coming here for four years now and the pizza's are consistant, use of freshest ingredients and the pizza sauce is to die for.

Service is extremly relaxed and friendly.
Can't fault this restaurant at all.

TIP: Book a table or you may have to wait, try to sit outside.

We were presented with a burnt pizza and complained to the waiter who did not seem to think there was anything wrong with the pizza.
How ever we were given another pizza which was not much better. We are not the type of people who complain with out good reason.
We did not finish our meal paid full price and left. I would never go back again, the staff did not seem to care

We ate here by chance. cute restaurant and busy. Kevin Sheedy was eating here too, so can't be bad huh?!

Restaurant was really hot inside, just fans to cool it down. Staff were noisy.. especially the owners. The young girl serving the table was great though.
