“Great family hotel in a magical spot”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

My husband and I took 4 days off from the rain in Sydney, and spent a relaxing holiday in Palm Cove. The Sea Temple is a lovely hotel and is especially suited to the family seeking an up-market yet child-friendly experience; a variety of pools in well landscaped grounds. It is not an ideal hotel for the romantic get-away during school holiday season!

The satff were so friendly which is a refelction of how friendly Queenslanders are in general.

I highly recommend a massage at the spa - one of the best and most comprehensive I've exaperienced. And the spa envirnonment is peaceful, elegant and smells divine!

The only critisism is that the restaurant is rather disappointing; over-priced food. And there is no proper bar to sit back and enjoy an evening cocktail. You are better off walking 3 minutes along the beach to the charming seafront of Palm Cove, which is low-key, has an elegant colonial feel and is full of great cafes, bars and restaurants.

Room Tip: Not at the back right, which overlooks the bins and loading bay. We moved to a lovely pool view room...

Travelled to Sydney in April 2012, to see my new grandson ( 6 months old) and spend time with my son and daughter-in-law. This was my third trip and I was really excited to see them again.

Unknown to me... my son had arranged a 7 night stay in a luxury apartment in Queensland at the Sea Temple resort, Palm Cove ... between Cairns and Port Douglas... What a lovely surprise.!!

The apartment was 5*+ and we each had our own bedroom and bathroom, with large shower and every need anyone could wish for. The lounge area was spacious, with TV and every facility anyone would want....American type fridge-freezer, super cooker, dish washer and every cooking utensil needed and more ! The room was serviced daily to a very high standard and there was even a washing machine and dryer in a utility-type annex (very useful with the baby)

There were 3 beautiful swimming pools and the area all around very tropical. It was only approx 100 yds. to the most beautiful beach (swimming at your peril) because of the Crocs.!! A short distance away (walking) the beach front had a legion of resturants and you were spoiled for choice. I did a day trip to the Great Barrier Reef which was arranged by the hotel staff, and was collected and returned comfortably.... a memorable experience.

There is so much to see and do in this beautiful place ( a visit to the Cairns Tropical Zoo is worthwhile) and see the "Salties (Crocs) " being fed !! Make no mistake, pricey it may be...but well worth it and an experience to be remembered !!

I would highly recommend this resort as a stay whether visiting relatives or just "doing walk-about" on a trip to OZ

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 night stay in a spa room. Chad at reception was efficient, helpful and friendly. The room itself was well laid out, clean, the bed comfortable and coffee making facilities were included which we like. The bathroom was large and well laid out and the spa bath was lovely. We were impressed with the whole resort especially its location, it feels secluded and private, but a short walk takes you to the buzz of Palm Cove and all the restaurants and shopping. Great place to stay and will recommend it to others.

We rented a private 2 bedroom penthouse apartment with a spa on the rooftop. Having all the facilities we needed and a bbq was fantastic. The resort's facilities were fantastic and the day spa to die for!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at The Pullman Palm Cove. On arrival we requested our room to be changed so we were not overlooking the pool and had a quieter room. Linda at reception was more than happy to help accomodate our needs, it was wonderful to recieve such service with a smile. Thank you for making our holiday a memorable one.
The location is wonderful, a short walk has you on the Esplande or through the boardwalk onto the beach.
The only fault we could make was the quality of the pillows, a few of them could be updated with new ones.
We will definiety make a return in the near future.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 309 which doesn't overlook the pool and has glimpses of the beach. Great if yo...
