“Great service. Nice food. Byo!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

Service was sweet and knowledgable. Black pepper squid was good. Not quite as expensive overall as others. Good quantity. Lots of people were getting ribs. We had steak and pasta and both were very good. Not super fancy. Kids meal pasta huge for 10$. Liked the Byo.

“Great restaurant, terrific service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013

We recently visited Rosser's at the Cove during our trip to Palm Cove. We tried Rosser's because of the positive reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed.

The service was excellent (which cannot be said for a lot of the restaurants in Palm Cove) and the food was great. We both had the oysters which were some of the best I have had in recent years. The main courses were generous in size and very tasty. We also appreciated that they were BYO with no corkage charge (apparently they are waiting on a liquor licence but said they would still not charge for BYO).

We saw a number of people look at the menu and walk off without stopping while we were eating. Don't be put off by the fact it sounds a bit like the menu from the Surf Club. The food is of much better quality and the excellent service makes the night even more enjoyable.

We will certainly be back on our next visit to Palm Cove.

“Great restaurant with excellent service!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013

Service here was exceptional. The waitress was great, especially given they seem to be understaffed the night we went. The chef came out and asked how we were enjoying our meal which was a nice touch. Its only a small restaurant which creates a great atmosphere. The meals are very generous in size and very tasty. My only fault (which is minor because I ate my whole meal) was the spaghetti Bolognese I ordered probably needed more sauce and a bit less spaghetti. That aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this restaurant.

“Excellent service & nice food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2013

Just had a nice meal at Rossers. The service was excellent and the waitress was brilliant with our two young children. The restaurant is byo only which we didn't realise but as we were there with the kids early it wasn't an issue. We had a nice fettucine marinara for our main and the kids enjoyed their fish and chips and spaghetti bolognaise with icecream included.
The restaurant is quite small with most tables outside, unfortunately it was starting to drizzle shortly after we arrived so we were quickly offered an inside table.
For the 4 of us with garlic bread, a dozen oysters and mains and dessert it came to $138 so not terribly cheap but reasonable by Palm Cove standards. No hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

“A must try”

Thanks trip advisor for putting us on to this little gem. Went there on our last night in Palm Cove and had a very enjoyable experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Steve the owner is just starting out but the food and setting would make you think he'd been around for ages. Highly recommend the food and setting. Thanks Rosser's for a great night out.
