We returned to Melaleuca after three years and found it just as enjoyable as the last time. The garden and pool are lovely and the units are very private with lovely views across the water.
We routinely walked along a lovely path to Clifton Beach shopping centre for coffee and caught a bus back.
Margaret and Steve are very helpful and nothing was a problem for them.

We will return to Melaleuca very soon I hope!

We walked in off the esplanade without a booking, desperate for just 1 or 2 nights accommodation, in the middle of school holidays, while our camper trailer was being repaired. Managers Margaret and Stephen could not have been more helpful or understanding of our situation. We ended up staying 2 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment, well appointed, spotless, and with a beautiful view through the Palm trees of the ocean. Breakfasts on the balcony, relaxing by the pool, lots of places nearby for coffee and food, what more do you need....

We have stayed at this resort several times. It is set in beautiful tropical surroundings with a delightful pool area. Our hosts, Margaret and Steve are unfailingly helpful and friendly. Steve even offered to drive us to the supermarket on our arrival. The apartments are spotless, spacious and extremely well presented. Beds are supremely comfortable. it is great to have a full sized kitchen, and our own washing machine and dryer. the balcony is ideal for relaxing, and each balcony offers restful views of the garden and/or the beach. You go to sleep to the sound of waves and the call of the curlews beneath the beach almonds. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else but Melaleuca. close to shops, and restaurants, and the beach is opposite.

Room Tip: We think all the rooms would be equally well appointed, but if you have mobility problems ask for a ground floor unit as there are a few stairs to first floor. All well spaced with landings.

This hotel resort was budget friendly and family friendly. A few different groups with young children stayed here while attending a wedding and the facilities in room and on site were great, with fully equip kitchen as well an outdoor bbq facility and pool area. The hotel was also in a prime location being on the esplanade and in very close walk to the beach and all of the restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Our booking was made very last minute due to the Indonesian Volcano erupting our plans to Singapore. Margaret and Steve were very accommodating and we were able to book into the Melaleuca Resort for a few days even though the Iron Man Marathon Event was on that weekend. A recent update including fresh paint and new outdoor furniture was most appreciated.
We will continue to recommend this establishment to all our friends.
A special feature is the stunning tropical garden equal to any worldwide resort.

Room Tip: The sound of the ocean from the balcony is fabulous.
