We visited during the school holidays Sept/ Oct for a much needed relaxing family holiday. Travelling from Perth with 2 teenagers and a 3 year old we hoped that the resort would live up to expectations . It certainly did... we had a slight concern on arrival as the rooms we booked and paid for were not available to us but this matter was soon very professionally dealt with by the ladies on reception and we got the right ones.
The rooms are very spacious and nicely fitted out , we stayed in a 2 bed penthouse but did see other rooms which looked just as lovely.
The pools are perfect for all ages and even though it was a busy period during school holidays there was room for everyone ... the lagoon pool is fantastic for the younger children to play and swim in... and the swim up bar is an added bonus!
We found all the staff very friendly and approachable...
We didn't eat at the restaurant so cannot comment on how it is.. we did eat at NuNu's which was fantastic, and also Reef House, Casmar and Colonies ( which does the most delicious Thai Green Curry!) .. all lovely food.
The Kuranda Railway and Sky Rail are def worth a trip on ..
Palm Cove is a beautiful part of the country and has a lovely tranquil feel to it.. it suits all groups of holiday makers from couples to families... so much so that my husband and I are planning to have a break there on our own in a few months time!

We stayed at Peppers for 10 days in September 2009 and had a fantastic time. The resort is ideal for people with kids, ours being 3 and 1. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with direct access to the pool which was very handy. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with the convenience of a kitchen and laundry. The lagoon pool is great for swimming and the kids can play in the sand with the other kids. The heated pool is also great if the weather is mild. There is a park directly across the road along the beachside which is ideal to occupy the kids. We didn't eat at the restaurants at the resort but found some great ones along the Esplanade. We got delicous meals at El Greko and Il Forno, the best pizza ever. The staff at the resort were always helpful and we would definately return to Peppers for a relaxing stay.

Stayed here in September 2009 with my wife and two daughters. We stayed in rooms 330 and 329 whixch were penthouse/spa rooms with hot tub on the balcony. The rooms were large an self contained, fully fitted with 3 TV's, washing maching, dryer and a fully fitted kitchen.
We arrived after a long journey and were very pleased to say the least with the rooms. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk to the town centre of Port Douglas which has all the amenities you would want for a short stay.
The only minor criticisms are the lack of sun loungers at the lagoon pool and the lack of any free internet access.
The hotel is an hour from the airport in a minibus, one down side was that our flight was at 0530 so we had to check out at 2am however thats not the hotels fault.
The rooms were serviced daily and there was tea, coffee, milk, washing powder, dishwasher powder and washing up liquid all supplied as required free of charge.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I'm ever in Port Douglas.
If you go there try the Rattle and Hum bar in the town centre it has great meals at very good prices from pizza to steak and a varied menu.

This was a great resort for thoe with children. We stayed for 9 nights with our 2 1/2 year old and he spend the whole time in the lagoon pool, large safe area for him to splash in, lots of shade provided by the surrounding palm trees, pool toys provided by the resort, lots of other kids to play with. The resort has 4 restaurants on-site that will do room service or take away and lots of restaurants within walking distance that are child friendly. I wish we had found this little piece of paradise sooner!!!

We stayed for three nights in a spa room. Walking into the resort, directly opposite the beach you see the resort pools with the fountain functioning, and it is beautiful. The resort was beautiful, and our room was lovely, a spacious bathroom, comfortable bed and a spa outside on the balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful in recommending tours and activities. The restaurant was very good, with fantastic views of the beach. If we go back to Palm Cove, we would stay at Peppers again but would probably book a suite rather than a room, as the suites have cooking facilities. It was a great way to celebrate a special occasion.

Great hospitality from staff, nice resort facilities. If the main lagoon pool gets too loud with children and so forth, the serenity pool is always quiet. The beach is just across the road and the life saving flags are right there too. If more privacy on the beach is wanted, a short walk down the other end of town is all that’s needed. The resort itself I think is at the good end of town near the little shopping centre and most restaurants. Room was in excellent condition and nice effect with frosted glass shower facing the bedroom. Thumbs up.

Stayed here for two nights in August. This is our 5th trip to the area. We always stay in Port Douglas but on this trip decided to spend 4 nights in PD & 2 in Palm Cove.. Im glad we did. The style of accommodation was fantastic. I read the reviews prior to booking it, was amazed with the resort. We had a one bedroom apartment. Very spacious, great kitchen & laundry facilites if needed..The resort had a great holiday feel about it..it had two pools one that was heated with spa & the other had a beach feel with sand & shallow areas for the little ones..Swin up bar was great too for a cocktail & a bit to eat whilst enjoying the sun! located right on the esplande, across from the beach & play ground. Restaurants all in walking distance..A must if staying in Palm Cove. We will try the beach club in PD on our next trip too!!
