“Lots of crocs and captive tourists!”
Reviewed July 22, 2014

Interesting place, worth going up to the farm area to see baby crocs being bred for their skins to be turned into high end accessories. Very expensive, visitors are forced to eat their crappy high trans fats food and overpriced coffee and drinks. The croc shows are the usual tease the croc to jump up for a bit of dead chicken. Staff are very knowledgeable though and love the crocs, know plenty about them. Children's prices finish at age 15 so is pretty pricey if you have older teenagers as we do.

“Snapping good fun.”

A well set out, informative, exciting and enjoyable facility, Hartley's Crocodile Farm is so much more than just looking at the Crocs. They have comfortable paths and walkways through all sorts of animal enclosures, including Cassowaries, Kangaroos & Emus, reptiles to name a few. The restaurant serves local cuisine of crocodile and kangaroo if you are adventurous. We tried Croc - Tastes like chicken :)
The boat ride amongst the crocs was awesome. up close and personal they are something to wonder at. DO NOT FALL IN.

“I couldn't take the smile off my face! Fantastic!”

This is a fantastic activity to do during a northern QLD stay. The tour guides are "aussie larrikins" with a great sense of humour. You won't get political correctness here, but they are respectful (they mostly make jokes about themselves).

Don't miss the crocodile attack show and please ensure you make time to visit all the animal enclosures as there are some impressive exhibits here.

Had a great day from the moment we got there. Lots of activities and heaps to see. The behind the scenes tours are great and the river boat ride is a must. Croc feeding show is great and touching a baby croc is a must too
