“Love this place - see them and eat them!”

While a bit of a distance from Cairns and this anywhere else (it's a bug country!) this is a great wildlife attraction in a state that has an enormous amonut of them. First bonus was that when you buy a ticket you can visit again free within 3 days - which we did. Learning about and feeding the cassowaries was really cool as was the river trip where you got really close to the crocs. The visit t o the farm part of the park was informative. The other wildlife there was clearly well cared for and the whole park was very walkable and easily accessible for all ages. The cafe in the park was excellent and having admired the crocs, there's nothing like munching into one! I have been to MANY zoos and wildlife parks in the last 15 years in Australia and NZ and this would rate as my favourite.

“A fantastic 2 days adventure”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

We arrived for the first day in the afternoon, and were given a map with details of everything that was going on in the afternoon. We were also advised that we could return within 3 days which was an unexpected bonus.

There was so much to see & do we went back 2 days later in the morning, which was a fantastic time to be there, and spent almost the whole day. Great value for money and helpful & knowledgeable staff.

I would definitely recommend this as a good day out.

Family visit on a very wet day. Complimentary use of umbrellas was very welcome! Timings of events well explained at entry gives guests an efficient tour. Great setting, enthusiastic staff who obviously respect and care for the animals. Impressive shows and informative tour of the complex. Great value, well worthwhile!

“Want to see a crocodile - come to this place”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

Yet again, Its a bit a of a drive out of Cairns, but its worth it. And its really cheap. When we stepped in, we were like omg theres one, and another. Then we looked around and they were everywhere. (IN THEIR EXHIBIT OF COURSE). And I reckon i saw the biggest croc ever, but they said it was just a baby. So much to do here.
