Visited beach almond on the weekend and ordered a mud crab the night before so we can get the best price and book it away...Guess what it was sold out the next day!!! Lot of jealous customers sitting around us!... The crab was awsome and Ryan made a good cocktail to go with it....Overall friendly staff and good food right at the beach front.. one more tip..book the crab in advance and opt for lunch instead....Cant wait to visit again :)

We were in Palm Cove for three nights and ate here twice. The food was brilliant and the service excellent. This would have to be some of the best asian cuisine I have had in some time. It is a really nice atmosphere when the restaurant is busy and a great location by the beach. The wait staff were all excellent and could give good advice on meals and wine selection. We were quite surprised at the reasonable prices for wine considering that we were in a popular beach resort location.

Don't miss the pork belly or the whole fish if you visit the restaurant.

This is the pick of the current restaurants in Palm Cove. Each time we have been there we are presented with wonderful fresh food and staff that are attentive but not intrusive. Last Thursday night was no exception. Whatever they are doing lets hope it continues.
Wonderful seafood dishes with an Asian flavour from the entree's to the mains.

Had a great feed on 1 March 2014. We were recommended by friends and enjoyed the great food and were welcomed by Brian (owner/chef) and staff. Enjoyed the black pepper mud crab and a couple of other favourites on their menu. A MUST when in Palm Cove.

Beach Almond was the perfect choice for a Valentine's date. We were given a warm welcome and shown directly to our table. Even on a busy night like Valentines Day, the restaurant manager deliberately chose not to fill every table so that diners could enjoy the evening's experience without being crowded. The view, the sea breeze, and the simple-but-chic decor created exceptional ambience you can only enjoy in the tropics.

Our entrees of chili mussels and crab spring rolls were delivered promptly and so good we couldn't wait for our mains to arrive. My grilled barramundi with lemongrass and chili was tender and had a zing of freshness. At the end of the meal, my partner announced the Eggnet salad as the best thing he'd eaten in years.

The couple at the table next to us finished their meals and tried to leave, but were so tempted by a quick flash of the dessert menu as they were exiting that they returned to their seats and each ordered sticky rice. At our table the kafir lime creme brûlée simply sounded too good to miss, and there was no question that we would each need our own.
With good reason.
It was so fantastically delicious I lack the vocabulary to accurately describe it's creamy goodness. If you live in the area, stop what you are doing right now and get to the Beach Almond and order this dessert.

Dinner with a bottle of wine, entrees and dessert was still good value for money and perfectly satiated after eating every bit of every dish without being overfull.
