“Exquisite flavours and perfect location”

My husband and I chose Lime and Pepper for an anniversary dinner because of it's beautiful location (complete with huge paperbark trees amongst the tables and beach views) and appealing and reasonably-priced menu (at least for the mains - wines and desserts were a little pricy). We were not disappointed!

Our waiter was very charismatic and helpful although a little unorthodox, as he would often run from one end of the restaurant to the other!

The food was probably the best I've ever had (although perhaps I should qualify that by saying we don't eat out at fancy restaurants often) and the portions were nicely sized. For mains we had chicken risotto and lamb with meditteranean vegetables, and for dessert coconut and lime creme brulee and chocolate cake. We shared each others' meals and all the flavours were just exquisite. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the lovely open-air ambience.

“Great service & wonderful Ambience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2009

We were staying in Palm Cove & decided to have dinner down on the beach when we came across the restaurant Lime & Pepper,,
Their service was great & their variety of meals was the best as well,,,, we had already decided to have a seafood hot & cold platter before we made our reservation so choosing was easy!!! We found the cost to be reasonable & had no complaints about the service.
When we come to Palm Cove again, we will definately be enjoying the meals at this Restaurant again!!

“Rude staff and food poisoning - dine at your own risk!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2009

My family and I chose to eat at this restaurant as it offered a delicious menu, however upon arrival it was clear that we were not welcome at the restaurant. When we asked if we could have a table for three the waiter looked blankly at the mostly empty restaurant and eventually decided we could, then presented us with a wine list. We probably should have realised when a normally $10 bottle of Fifth Leg was priced at $78 that this place would be a rip off, but we were tired and ordered our meals anyway. We ordered two paellas and a lamb dish with a yoghurt sauce and the two who ordered the paella were disappointed when two small plates of rice with three oysters came out. After dinner we were presented with dessert menus and when we asked to wait a few minutes before ordering, the bill was shoved onto the table and we were wished a good night ... perhaps the most the waiter had said to us all night! The bad evening did not end there as at midnight I awoke with food poisoning! Our total bill came to around $160 including one bottle of wine, two entrees and three mains. All in all it was a very disappointing night!.

“Very enjoyable meal”

We ate dinner here as we were staying at Peppers Beach Club. We had a really good meal and service was great. No complaints at all. We didn't try the breakfast. They made great cosmopolitans!

“Less than impressive”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2009

4 of us dined here in mid may. The menu looked appealing.

We all had cocktails, the mango daquiri was dissapointing, and had not much taste. I had a blue swimmer crab for entree and it was not a good choice.

Lots of plate for your money and not much food. On the upside atmosphere is awesome, very pretty.

But I would not go back.
