Can't complain about the room, it was immaculate. Only problem was the heating - it was too hot, had to knock the fan on & off numerous times. Did not have a good sleep because of it. Service was great though and seemed like a friendly atmosphere. Good value.

We were a group booking and the staff made an extra effort to ensure we could all eat together even though I was kind of late in booking our table. They really went that extra mile for us and were so friendly and nothing was a problem.

The rooms were just what you'd expect and very clean which is what is important to me.

I'd certainly take a group back there, good pub grub at a great price, decent clean rooms and fantastic staff what more do you want from a hotel!

As is usual with this chain of hotels the greeting was warm and welcoming . The room with wide screen T V was one of the best I have been allocated. The furniture was in good order and lacked tiredness characteristic of some institutions. The soap dispenser needed a top up in the bathroom but this did not hinder too much one's ablutions.Breakfast at Brewer's Fayre was comprehensive although I prefer cooked to order for full English..Nonetheless another winner for Premier Inns.

The hotel has indeed been newly renovated and the room was nice and clean, though I couldn't find a shaver socket in the bathroom, so take an adaptor. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and it is very convenient for Whitehaven, which itself has far more things of interest than I had anticipated. I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely use it again.
