Excellent B&B, one of the best!
Liz and Jon made us very welcome and organised a brilliant Battlefield tour for us.
Nothing was too much trouble for them.
The breakfast was amazing, all preserves are homemade. Choice of breakfast - hot or cold.
We had a lovely evening meal cooked by Liz, she is an excellent cook and all food was freshly prepared.
We had a few belgium beers from the bar and had great evening chatting to our hosts.
There was a lovely log fire making the surroundings cosy and they have a great collection of WW1 artifacts which Jon explained were.
The rooms were lovely and comfortable, with tea/coffee making facilities, cable TV. Really felt at home.
They look after you very well and helped us with some research, introduced us to some Belgium friends of theirs who took us down to Ploegsteert for the afternoon.
They also have a lovely black Lab called Sam who was great.
I would definetely stay there again and take the rest of the family.
They are in a lovely place called Brandhoek which is only 10 minutes drive from Ieper and the Menin Gate.More
