Our family of six had two dinners at Paco Cabana. The first meal was just OK: the fish and meat were a little over-cooked (a fairly common phenomena in the DR), but the shrimp tempura was quite good. We loved the setting-- a very pretty restaurant with excellent service. For those reasons we decided to return another evening, and actually found all six of our meals to be much better (perhaps because we stayed away from the fish). The chicken kebobs were cooked perfectly, and everything else was really well done. So I would give 3 stars for the first night and 5 for the other night, so it averages to a 4.
