The restaurant is right beside the sea and the sound of the waves was very relaxing. We had the best steaks that we have tasted in a long time. Apparently they were from Venezuela. The wine and desserts were also good. The chef/owner was charming as were all the staff.

The second time we went was also enjoyable but our choice of food did not match up to the steaks.

La Terrasse is one of the more elegant of the row of informal restaurants that line the beach. The interior is cheerful and well appointed. The food is average, the service is attentive, and the atmosphere friendly. The staff kindly set up a table on the sand in front of the water for us, which made for a relaxing meal.

La Terrasse is a nice little restaurant in El Pueblo de los Pescadores but really neither the food or the service were anything spectacular. The appetizers varied (calamari was good, shrimps not so good) and in all cases portions rather small for the price. Main dishes again were varied, the local specialty - Pescado con Coco was good but the pasta with calamari was less than impressive. The wine was served cold - which was surprising to me, but soon warmed up so it was agreeable to drink. Not terrible but did not live up to the expectation....
