We spent the day with a local guide and ended up here about 4:30 in the afternoon. Waves were gentle due to the coral reef. We saw a canon that was supposed to have been on Columbus ship as he arrived in this bay. So cool! They had huge sun beds, and I mean real beds. Beautiful and peaceful. We loved and I will go back.

This beach is located just outside of El Limon. It is an OK beach with a bit darker sand and quite allot of garbage and not manicured or raked. It is not one of my favourites, but I did enjoy going to see it. It is quite secluded, so if that is what you are after, you may enjoy it. Be sure to stop at Santi's for lunch in El Limon or dinner. It is a great place to eat in El Limon.

We drove to Playa Moron but the only paved road is private. The guard of the resort "let us" park close to the entrance were he looked after our car for a fee.
A local teen, took us to the beach via the public access (not doable with a car). He offered drinks from a cooler and also to bring us food from a nearby restaurant if we wanted (we did and had a good experience). There is a restaurant at the beach but is only for the resort (still under construction). They also have beach chairs but again not for rent.
The beach is beautiful and good for swimming. Nice place to visit but not great if you want services.

Drove there with my motocross bike, guards were unfriendly and said nobody can enter anymore. I circled around and found a way through the forest, only to meet a gentleman with a pumpgun who escorted me off the premises again. The beach itself looked beautiful and rough, just as you would expect it from an Atlantic-facing one. If you have offroad wheels, go a bit further to Lanza del Norte. 5 minutes along a dirt road, you'll find yourself a Robinson Crusoe escape.
