A truly memorable Christmas rental; the location by the seaside is second to none; and it provided an endless source of entertainment - the all day promenade of people and dogs was utterly delightful and the endless fascination of "the weather" - whatever it threw at us - was a special experience. Oh, and breakfast at Bluebird (best coffee she's had in England according to my sister who now lives in Australia) is an absolute must. Dolphins itself worked well for 5 of us (one celebrating a 90th birthday) but I can imagine it is heaven for much younger families for summer holidays. Very well equipped, felt like home immediately and we really did find it a wrench to leave on 30 Dec. Thanks to Chris & Wendy for the very thoughtful Christmas touches.
If you want a Sussex seaside holiday nowhere could be better. The house is comfortable with three spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms and a third loo. We enjoyed the living room, the children appreciated the high quality TV. the garden led straight onto the beach. Only drawback for us was the owner provided blankets not duvets but we were able to take our own.
A five minute walk along the seaside path leads you to the Bluebird Cafe, the best seaside cafe I know. Worthing and Littlehampton are nearby. We had a great day in Brighton and enjoyed a trip up the brand new Eye in the Sky. Fishers Farm and Drusillas are also good day trips out if you have children with you.
We would enjoy another holiday there and wished we had been able to stay more than a week.
