If you want to learn how to surf and experience beautiful nature, you have it all there.

The camp is perfectly situated, within a stone’s throw of the beach. The sound from the ocean woke us in the mornings and with some luck we got to see small monkeys jumping in the trees.

The surfing teachers, Beto and Nico, are very nice persons with an eye for what you need to learn, and they are very good at conveying their knowledge.

You will have a fantastically good time!

/Jessi

I first traveled to Brasil nine years ago and this jewel of bahia was the first place I stayed and Im still coming back
As a very average on and off surfer for 24 years , Im 44 years old I have been delighted to learn some tips from Beto that have improved my surfing. Beto and Nico are dedicated teachers motivated by their enthusiasm and love of surfing , Betos background as a pro surfer meaning your always in safe hands and you will improve your game.
The food is fresh and nutritious with special dietry requests catered for ,the rooms are clean, comfortable and functional with books and dvds , although after a days surfing getting a good nights sleep is a priority for most
The location is stunning , you are on private land with absolute beachfront of swaying palms, golden sands and rolling surf
For the Yogis and Yoginis out there , Bahia Surf Camp has a newly built shala with a weekly Yoga lesson from Yoga alliance certified teacher and if Yoga is your thing look out for Bahia Surf camp Yoga retreats coming in the near future
The camp is well located for Salvador international airport and even without surfing or yoga is the perfect place to ease yourself in and out of Brasil before or after a long flight

Ive just finished my second surf holiday in Busca Vida. I just love that place. It's so chilled and beautiful with the waves breaking just a stones throw away. The food is amazing too....everyday there is always something new and delicious and plenty of it. Beto is such a cool guy, and nico and Philip too. Highly recommended if you want to relax, eat well and surf on beautiful beaches.

I hesitate to write this review as Bahia Surf Camp is one of those places you would be tempted to keep for yourself. But here goes....if you are looking for a truly fantastic place to surf and you are ready for hands-on coaching from the best, Beto and his team is what you would be looking for.
The energy of the place is fantastic, you are in good hands and you will surely improve you surf.
I loved the place and can't wait to return. Thanks to Beto and his crew for a great time.
