For a weekend away, nothing beats getting up the Sunshine Coast to Coolum.
This was our first stay at Seacove and we enjoyed it.
Rented a 1 bedroom apartment which had a small kitchen combined with sitting/lounge area, good size bedroom with an adjoining bathroom/laundry with dryer/washer.
The balcony off the kitchen area overlooked the pool; ideal for enjoying a morning coffee and reading the paper.
I took advantage of the pool early on the Saturday morning - it was brisk but not too cold (about 18c water temp) then relaxed in the fantastic spa (approx 30c water temp).
Free BBQs are also available for use near the pool area.
The beach is a short walk of about 10 - 15 mins and Coolum village is approx 15 - 20 min walk.
Perigian Beach is only 3km away up the road, which is also in walking distance or a short car drive.
We enjoyed staying at this resort and were impressed by the customer service by management. Late check in was not an issue and we were personally met when we arrived.
Only issue we had was that the lounge area wasn't big enough for us to spread out and the TV was in an awkward position on the wall.
We also lacked a convenient coffee/dining table in the lounge.
But if you're there to simply swim or hit the beach, this wont be a problem.

G'day Millisynth, Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback for us, here at Seacove Resort. The spa is always great after a dip in the pool and certainly makes you feel alive. Coolum Beach has so much character and some fantastic restaurants and coffee houses to visit. Not sure if you had a chance but next time you're up this way, check out either The Caf or Little Lane Espresso, they both do an excellent job of keeping caffeine junkies happy.

Take care and keep your dreams alive

Booked in for 4 nights at Seacove. Couldn't be faulted. Robbie and Kim were both very hospitable and helpful. The pool and hot-tub were well maintained as were the outside barbecue's. Walking distance to the beach and to Coolum Beach village/town. A very enjoyable stay in our motel type room with outside balcony and good fridge.

Room Tip: If you are staying a long time ask about facilities in rooms. Some have more indoor cooking faciliti...

G'day Simon O, it is great to hear that you enjoyed your stay, the heated spa in winter is a favourite with a lot of people, it can feel like your a million miles away when the steam is rising off it in the early morning.

The Sunshine Coast is brilliant at this time of year, with blue skies and crisp mornings. Once again, great to hear that your enjoyed your stay and we look forward to seeing you again.

Cheers

Yet again the personal friendly attentive service , spotless rooms , comfortable beds , Devine pool and spa , toys for the kids, shade sail for sun protection and BBQ's . The apartments have all the necessities you need for self catering. Fantastic air con for those hot days and washing machine and dryer for laundering. Rob & Kim Leigh are full of knowledge and always obliging with info to enjoy your stay !!
Looking forward to next year already

G'day Kyzafletch, thank you for taking the time to write up a review. It is great to hear that you enjoyed your stay back in February. If you can work it February is a great time to get away as most holiday makers have gone back to school or work. It feels like you have the complex and facilities all to yourself.

Looking forward to catching up with you and the gang next time that you are up in Coolum.

Take care and keep your dreams alive.

From our first contact with Robbie and Kim we had a great experience. They answerd all the questions we had via email and phone prior to our stay. The welcome on our arrival was more like a b&b then a hotel and both Robbie and Kim are great ambasitors for Coolum and the area.
We stayed in a 2 br unit which was a great size and by the looks recently renovated.
If I could recommend any improvements it would be fitting child proof locks or latches to doors and windows and if possible having the exit light only come on when required.
The pool area is worth special mention for a small hotel and our son loved the pool toys provided.
Overall a great stay with great hosts and we are looking forward to our next stay

G'day lays0, it is good to hear that you enjoyed your stay here at Seacove Resort and thank you for taking the time to leave some feed back for us.

Our kids love the pool as well and the pool noodles make it even more enjoyable for them. Even though it is getting a bit cooler the heated spa ensures you can have a quick cool down in the pool and then warm back up in the spa.

Unfortunately it is a safety requirement to have the exit lights on at all times, and we will investigate the child locks that you mentioned.

Hopefully we will see you again, and you will have the chance to explore the Sunshine Coast a bit more.

Take care and keep your dreams alive.

A last minute trip to the sunny coast with a booking done while driving. ment we arrived at the resort late, turned into one of the best stays we have ever had on the sunny coast. The weather turned it on for us, as did Robbie and Kim-Liegh. Felt right at home straight from the onset. had a little hiccup with the room when we first checked in. totally out of robbies control so he upgraded us to the larger room at no cost. Giving us more info about the local area than anybody ever has.
Cant wait to go back with the kids next time. Well done Robbie and Kim-Liegh keep up the great work.

G'day HenleyFarms, sometimes the best breaks are those that we do not plan.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for Seacove Resort and it is great to hear that you had a nice time away.

Coolum Beach is great spot to utilise as a central base to explore the Sunshine Coast and experience all it has to offer.

Looking forward to meeting up with you and the kids next time you take a break. Remember you can wear them out in the heated pool during these beautiful cooler days, allowing you to enjoy a wine in peace on the balcony of your apartment in the evening.

We have stayed at the Resort 3 times in the last 6 Months. a weekend and two week long stays. Always warmly welcomed and all needs attended to. The walk to Coolum is a breeze and a great way to walk off drinks and dinner. Kids are always welcome and the two bedroom townhouse with lounge that has a double fold bed is the way to stay. The townhouse had a TV in the bedroom which was an escape from the kids. Will be back when my next holidays are due.

Room Tip: Ask for the Townhouse with TV in the main bedroom if you have kids. This two bedroom has 3 TV's...

Having to go back to work is a bit of a bore, but on the plus side it is an excellent time to plan for your next break, but do it during the lunch break. :)
