From the first phone call enquiry right through to the good-bye at the end Rob and Kim gave us the friendliest and most personal service we have ever received. My wife, our two children and I had a fantastic time. The units were nice and the people looking after us were outstanding.

G'day Shaun K and family, it was excellent to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us over the Christmas break. Coolum is a fantastic place to holiday, relax and to use as a base to explore the rest of the Sunshine Coast.

Best of luck with everything in 2013 and we look forward to looking after you on your next break.

Cheers,

Robbie and Kim-Leigh

We loved our recent stay at Seacove Resort. We rented a fully self contained 1 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean and well furnished with almost everything we needed.

Some more cutlery would be great, there was a set of 4, which meant you had a wash up regularly - but the dishwasher made light work of that. Also, a better vacuum to help clean up the sand from the beach. Otherwise - everything about this place was perfect.

The resort has a good sized pool and spa, which we had to ourselves most days (we stayed in October/November). We felt very welcome and the managers always had time for a chat and to recommend nearby attractions.

Its was great been only a short-walk to Coolum beach and the main street - tucked away just out of town.

We highly recommend Seacove Resort as the perfect 'base-camp' for a sunshine coast holiday.

G'day Ty C, it is great to hear that both enjoyed your stay at Seacove Resort. We think we saw you both getting out once or twice, to experience the Sunshine Coast.

Did you get to see that sunrise at all?

G'day Markp, it is great to hear that you and the family enjoyed your stay here at Seacove Resort. I'll be honest and let you know I have no idea what is happening with the gardens but that "Charlie Carp Fertilisers" is great stuff.

Good luck with the pandanus seeds and we would love to see a photo of them in the future.

Next time your down, you will have to make sure you take a good break and utilise the pool.

My husband and I took a few days out of our busy lives and stayed at the Seacove Resort during our stay at Coolum. We were in a studio room (10). Easy parking and we felt safe and secure. The resort is private and quiet. Our room was clean and tidy and well furnished. Bed was comfy. Reverse cycle airconditioner was great for the cool mornings. Also enjoyed sitting on the sunny verandah reading. Loved the fact that we had a microwave, kettle, toaster, bar fridge and dishes/cutlery so we could make our own breakfast and lunch. Enjoyed relaxing and watching dvd's on the big tv at night. We didn't get to go in the pool even though it was heated (too chicken as it was cold outside) but it looked fantastic. Great place to stay that didn't break the bank.

G'day Jennywren71, it is really good to hear that you enjoyed your getaway to Seacove Resort and were hopefully able to forget the rest of the world for a few days.

Next time you will have to be brave and take a dip into our pool or have a tandem skydive. ( That would be something to tell the kids). They land just out the front at Stumers Creek and I have been told that the adrenalin rush is fantastic.

The out look from the studio apartment is really nice, the only downside being the cheeky kookaburra that sometimes invites himself to breakfast on the balcony, at least he doesn't drink too much coffee.

We stayed at this wonderful resort whilst relocating our family from interstate. The welcome and wealth of local knowledge were invaluable to us. It is difficult finding people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and a part of their community, but the Judge family made us feel welcome in every way - thank you

G'day My3Squids, it is nice to hear that we were able, in some small way, to make your move to Queensland a bit easier.

Hopefully, once you are all settled in, you will be able to experience the natural wonders of the Sunshine Coast, the whales are making their way past Coolum Beach.

One of the best spots to see the whales is from Point Perry, grab a coffee and the kids, sit back on the hill and wait to see who will spot a whale first!

G'day spongbobcarl, great to hear that you enjoyed your stay in apartment 20 when you stayed with us.

Your absolutely correct about that apartment, the owners have been very proactive and have put a lot of thought and work into that apartment to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable stay there.

Next time your up with the crew, you should bring your bikes, there are some great bike tracks around and the council is adding more in the near future. After a ride with the kids jumping into the heated spa is a perfect way to end the day.

Take care and keep your dreams alive,

This place is wrongly listed as a four star resort. It is well out of Coolum and the beach is only accessible after a mangrove swamp walk. My room was obviously a granny flat complete with safety rails and looked out onto the rubbish bins, gas cylinders and a paling fence next to a common walk way so sitting outside was out of the question. The Wifi is not free, the spa only worked on one side of the tub and the airconditioner behind the tv failed to adequately cool the room. Leftover food scraps from the previous tenant added to the ambience. Lack of adequate soundproofing was the icing on the cake of my stay as I lay listening to a fractious baby upstairs.

Good Morning Josemccool. Thank you for taking the time to post a review for Seacove Resort.

Your review has surprised us a bit, as this is the first that we have learnt that you were not happy with your accommodation. Our complex is situated, just 1.3 km from the heart of Coolum Beach and it's fantastic beach front coffee and restaurant district. The new Coles shopping centre is approx 600m away. The area in front of the complex is National Park with an array of Tea Trees, Australian Bottle Brush, some Australian Black Boys trees and bush grasses - our guests enjoy this walk down to Stumers Creek.

The Motel Studio that you booked last minute has been modified to assist those with a slight mobility impairment with the addition of the support rails in the ensuite.

We are very surprised to learn that there was food left behind by the previous guest as we and our housekeepers pride ourselves on our standard of cleanliness. We would have been happy to rectify this issue should you have brought it to our attention at the time.

We do not advertise as having free WiFi - a description of the room you booked is below:

"Coolum's Hidden Oasis! A/C; Austar;TV;DVD;WiFiZone Wireless Broadband(fee);Ensuite;Tea & Coffee facilities;Small fridge;Balcony/Patio..."

The studio apartment that you stayed in is usually well received as it is located away from the pool area and is usually quiet. The walk way that you mention, is for the studio apartment you stayed in and the one next door, so it too is usually fairly quiet.

The "fractious baby upstairs" that you comment on is the new born of a young couple who have just moved to Coolum Beach and would have been visiting the proud grandparents who were on holidays staying in the apartment above you.

Unfortunately, though we do try, we are unable to please everyone every time. Perhaps if you are looking for peace and solitude, booking last minute into a holiday resort over the Easter holiday period should be best avoided next time.

Take care and keep your dreams alive
