Wow, wow, wow! I was brought to Rinaldo's for a birthday dinner and was really impressed with absolutely everything - The food, the atmosphere and the service.
We shared an entree to begin, having the oven baked scallops with cauliflower puree and prosciutto. Best meal of the night! It was absolutely delicious!
For main, I had the slow cooked Lamb Rump and was pleasantly surprised at the size of the portion. Not too big, but not too small. The parsnip puree and chips really added the special touch to this meal.
And the grand finale - For dessert, I had the baked cheesecake with a honey/nut topping, vanilla ice cream and poached quince. Wow. The ice cream had the genuine, home made, vanilla bean flavour and together with the poached quince, it was perfect! It made the perfect end to a wonderful meal.
I had a really great night and will definitely be returning to Rinaldo's to try some more of their creations!
