We were given a grotty, sticky, wet menu from the bar to take back to our table.

Our cutlery was literally dumped onto our table by a rude waitress and the bangers and mash were revolting!!!! The potato was instant mashed potato, the sausages tasted cheap and nasty.

The roast pork dinner was nice but overall, a disappointing experience.

Not the nicest of bars and their food is boring, though reasonably priced. The outside area on a sunny day is real nice all the same

We went to the New Orleans for a drink and maybe stay on for dinner, the service was poor and the beers were all under the wrong taps very confusing.
The menu was basic and expensive for what was on offer so we moved on to the tap which was a much better experience.

We decided to have breakfast at the New Orleans Hotel and it was great. The was quite a cold morning and they have the fire roaring away which kept us nice and warm. Really nice and quiet place to have brekfast. I didn't realise until we went in that they had accommodation to offer as well which would have been good to have known beforehand. Maybe next time.

Nice ambiance and a great place to have a beer. Stays open a bit later than other places.
