I attended a wedding reception at this location and it was great. What a picturesque location. I didn't stay over so cannot comment on the rooms but as a wedding location it was perfect. Really intimate, classy and interesting. When the sun goes down it is really quite stunning.

We actually held our wedding reception at this hotel and what a magical day it was! Such a beautiful setting and such a special hotel with loads of charm and extremely well maintained! Shame it doesn't open all year round or I would definately be going over more often!

Stayed here for a weekend, some people might not the location as it takes some finding but worth it when you get there. I think it had just opened when we arrived so the bar was poorly stocked
but the advatage to that was they have an excellent house wine both red and white. Some slight building works about the place bur it did not affect our stay pool was great. Rooms are well appointed and face a courtyard with gardens and fountain. We found rooms clean and everything was in working order and the complimentary items in the bathroom are of a high quality. we ate in the hotel restaurant one night and it was high quality, so it was some shock when we had breakfast, this was poor waitress service and it was all over the place, missed orders eggs and bacon served before cereal if you ordered it, toast often late and only one cup of coffee/tea you have to pay for any extra and as you get you hot beverage with your juice by the time you get your hot breakfast you have to order extra, this hotel would have got full marks apart from this it would benefit having a buffet type continental breakfast with additional scope to order a hot breakfast if required. There were a lot of complaints about the breakfast and it was quite busy so we would hope the management will have taken comments on board and chage the set up. Some people might find this hotel too quiet and out of the way, but we would use this again.

We spent a weekend at the Hotel Monasterio de San Martin. What a great little secret, set among the beautiful Cadiz countryside. What tasteful furnishings with attention to all matter of details a real gem, a real monastry with peace and tranquility included. The restaurant has a great menu and exquisite plates. Well worth the visit.
