Although our stay here was last year, I came across their site on TA and saw there weren't many reviews, so I felt I should add my thoughts. Casa Aurora in Saleres offers a relaxing place to get away from it all and much more in this wonderfully restored old village house.
We didn't know what to expect when we opened the big front door for the first time, but we wandered from room to room with wide eyes and smiles on faces and with more "wows" than any other words in the first few minutes of exploring this large property!
Big rooms, old world charm and modern comforts mean it's an ideal base for taking in this fabulous part of Spain. We went into Granada city, explored the nearby villages and enjoyed walks. Some unusual sights too, I've never seen a builder's skip full of oranges before!
The big kitchen made it easy to prepare our meals, taking them either by the small plunge pool, or in the sunny dining area. Stock up for your stay with a shop at one of the big stores before you arrive, then the van hooting in the morning is a signal to nip out and get the daily bread!
We were three couples, but there was so much space we never felt cramped and found it easy to relax. All of us are looking forward to the next time. A lovely place to stay!
What a holiday! The accommodation was dreamy - so beautifully renovated and packed with rustic charm. The location was perfect - remote enough to switch off and wind down, but close enough to city life in Granada and spectacular beaches by the coast, as well as being surrounded by gorgeous scenery and breathtaking viewsat every turn. The whole family had a wonderful trip - we found plenty to occupy us out and about when we weren't relaxing by the cold dipping pool at Casa Aurora. Thank you!
