Stopped here as part of a tour. Interesting to wander through and read about the traditions and culture of the Anangu people of Uluru. Watched some traditional painting being done and saw lots of artifacts relating to the area. No photography is permitted which was a disappointment, but this is to protect the buildings and their contents so respecting the wishes of the traditional owners is easy to do.

The centre has plenty of interesting displays and local artist selling their art.
The café is really poor quality considering it has a monopoly at Uluru ...warm food items sold cold inside and no tables being cleared. The staff attitude was horrible when dealing with complaints about food.

An enjoyable stop where we were able to learn a little more about the history of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. We particularly enjoyed the video presentation.

We attended the Mani-Mani dancing at the cultural centre after watching g the sunset on Uluru.
This was a complete disappointment, the show started fifty minutes late, only lasted about twenty minutes, and the two dancers were clearly making up the 'dancing' as they went. This was even noticed by my six year old.
I was really hoping to watch some genuine traditional dance, but left feeling like a tourist fleeces for their money!
