Owner description: Located in Watarrka National Park, Kings Canyon known for its 100–meter-high sheer cliff walls. There are a variety of walks, the most popular is the Rim Walk which is a 3-4 hour walk with a steep start. Kings Creek Walk is a gentle walk at the base of the Canyon which takes about an hour. Please note that in hot weather where the forecast is to be 36 degrees celsius and above, there are access restrictions to some walks.

picked uop by our driver guide aatkings big comfortable bus and dropped off at the canyon beginning.Met our guide who does the walk/climb seven days a week.!!! slowly we made our way up the first 500 steps!! Up at the top we rested a while and then moved on into this incredible stone ancient land. Our guide had much knowledge that he shared with some passion,.We all were learning so much about this part of OZ that we were so ignorant of before. We were wwell guided all the way and then with about 300 meters we said goodbye to our trusty guide.
We all had a wonderful day .aatKings is the best.

Personally I think that Kings Canyon was far superior to Ayers Rock/The Olga's.
If you are up for a tough slog make sure that you do the rim walk. For those that are slightly unfit, then yes, It is a hard climb at the start, but take your time to get up and be rewarded with the best experience! The remainder of the walk is a cakewalk if you can conquer the initial climb.
Halfway around is ''The Garden of Eden'', a lush area of plant life and a water hole that you are allowed to swim in so make sure you make the deviation along the garden of Eden walk (adding a few hundred metres to your walk)

HIGHLY recommended!!!

Wow, one of the best places I have been. Loved every moment, from the start of the hike to the end. It can be a little challenging at the beginning for the less mobile people with a 100metre climb up rock stairs to get to the top of the canyon, but once you are past that, the rest is quite easygoing (dont let it put you off). Lots of different ecosystems to see in the canyon. Could do the drive out from Uluru and back in one so you dont need to book accommodation out there (which is very limited and basic)

Beautiful rock formation is Kings Canyon. We were 4 boys climb the mountain and tour around within 2.5 hours. If you are strong then you will do it in fewer hours.

Pros:
1. Nature beauty
2. Path markings
3. Warning and sign boards

Cons:
1. Again flies everywhere

Advise:

Take plenty of water with you, apply sunscreen, if it is summer then don’t forget to take a fly protected hat.
