Marksie makes the night. He is very interesting and entertaining and takes the time to chat with his guests.
He is very passionate about his food and explains all the items on offer. It's an opportunity to try some different meat like croc, camel and roo if you are keen. Fancy damper too.
He is also very service-oriented - I left an item behind and he generously delivered it to our motel the next day.
As 2A & 1C, we got a family ticket which might be good value for 2A & up to 4C but $150 was a significant amount for dinner which did not include any alcoholic beverages or juice/soft drink (we had non-alcoholic home-made cordial / punch and water). Other diners BYO alcohol but I had missed this detail so we went without,
He doesn't actually prepare or cook in front of you - it is mostly prepared although he does have a fire and his tools/cookware on display.
My son loved the billy tea demonstration and competition with the other young boy attending.
All in all - a good night enjoyed by my family.
