Owner description: A deep gorge carved through ancient sandstone by the Katherine River draws thousands of visitors to the Jawoyn-owned Nitmiluk National Park each year. Distinctive dissected sandstone country features above the gorge, lush rainforest gullies inhabit giant cracks in the gorge walls, and broad valleys meander through both the high and the low country. Enjoy a boat tour, helicopter flight, various walks, camping and canoeing. Leliyn (Edith Falls) is also a great attraction within the Park.

We booked the dinner cruise and were very impressed by the two-gorge cruise experience as well as the excellent dinner. We were fortunate to stay in one of the Nitmiluk park bungalows so we had the advantage of a relatively short walk to our accommodation after the cruise. The serene atmosphere of the dinner cruise was memorable.

Magical place a must see. We did the 4 hour tour of the 3 gorges and it was amazing. We had clear blue skys and took amazing photos. We had a swim which was fantastic. We loved this tour and were well looked after by the staff. We saw about 8 crocodiles which was a total bonus. We were really pleased we did the 3 gorges instead of the 2. Next time we plan to kayak as well as that looked fun too

This was a very pretty place to see. We took 2 boats and had to do a little hike from one to the next. The rocks were of beautiful colors and we were able to see ancient rock paintings.

This was the second time I had done the two gorge tour as I had enjoyed it so much the first time. Well worth seeing if you in Katherine.

Breathtaking scenery. The cruise to the 2 gorges I a must. There are many walking tracks which also have views over the gorges.
