We spent some time at this centre, learning about the local wildlife and Aboriginal culture. There was a great gift shop with plenty or genuine Aboriginal art works for sale. When you buy here, you're getting the real thing.

A visit to Warradjan Cultural Centre was a really enjoyable experience and a great way to learn about the region and its people past and present. As we continued our Kakadu holiday we found ourselves remembering information from the wonderful displays at Warradjan so we were much better informed and saw many places in a new light. The Centre is extremely well presented and run. It's FREE, cool - as in air conditioned - and the shop is good too. Make time to go there.

It has A/C and is FREE. From there it just gets better. Great displays set-up in a well excuted walk around museum. Enough information without too much information - you can read it all without nodding off.
Also a good store to buy items from the park. Prices are reasonable for the items and quality.

Note - no pictures allowed.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review regarding your recent visit to Warradjan Cultural Centre.

The centre is filled with information about our local Traditional Owners and some of the history of Kakadu National Park. It is also filled with artwork painted by our local Indigenous artists.

Did you visit Yellow Water while you were in the area? The world famous Yellow Water cruise departs from the pontoon next to Warradjan Cultural Centre and offers a spectacular wet lands experience.

Thank you once again for your valuable feedback.

This was a very high quality display about indigenous culture, people, the land and lifestyle. A pleasure to walk around and so much information, it would engage all ages. I nearly did not go and am so glad I made the time, I was due on a boat tour and the only recommendation I make is allow more time. There is also a shop which had indigenous art which was high quality and wide variety also many souvenirs, this was the best gallery I saw of art available in Kakadu. My only wish is I spent more time there and had not been leaving the next day

Thank you for your review of Warradjan Cultural Centre!

I am glad to hear you found it so informative, and that you would recommend for other travellers to make time to visit the centre. It is certainly another great attraction in the Cooinda area.

The gift shop is a great place to pick up a unique souvenir or gift to bring home, we sell local handmade weaving and artwork there that is one of a kind!

Thank you again and all the best,
