Visited for lunch and the three of us opted for the set menu - just under £15 a head for three courses.
Good ambiance. Good service.. Great pub setting in a lovely village.
Food somewhat disappointing. Smallish portions (the cheese board desert was a bit of a joke with a minute sliver of cheese but ample biscuits)
Fish well cooked. Sausage and mash a let down. Surely for the price they could have come up with a couple of real juicy "farmhouse" sausages rather that what seemed to be a couple of thin Tesco "everyday value" type and a spot of rather tired gravy...
Wine list good although we settled for mineral water.
Overall a pleasant enough experience but this is basically a village pub so be a little more generous with the portions, please!.
