We had a wonderful 'mini-moon' at Joya, sans children. The host is very accomodating. The breakfast is AMAZING - far nicer than anything you can get in a cafe - and with lots of home-made love in it.

We missed out on the garden studio (next time...) - but had a very nice stay in the villa studio. The beds are huge and very comfortable, the linen and towels are fresh and new. The garden is lovely - there is nothing lacking. It is a short walk to the centre of Nelson through a leafy hill suburb, with lots of wonderful meals to be had and memories to make.

I highly recommend this B&B to you.

We stayed two nights in the lovely garden studio. Unfortunately we did not havd the time to unwind fully and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of the garden more. The stufio has alle the amenities you need and is very tastefully furnished. Paulina is an excellent host and has lots of useful tips what to do in and around Nelson. You can easily spend a week there without being bored. oh, and her organic breakfast is delicious and a must have!

Our restaurant tips: Ford's and Hopgood's.

We stayed at Joya the first 3 nights of our family tour to NZ South Island and it was a great start .

Pauline is so friendly and lovely and this i learnt before we met from our booking correspondence and it was the main reason I choose this place which turned to be one of our best choices.
The villa room is perfect for families looking for privacy in a stylish, beautiful and cosy studio with a peaceful amazing garden..
Pauline is a great host we loved chating with her and she gave us great tips on the area and of course an amazing organic breakfast.

We highly recommend staying here Joya & Pauline have so much charm above any star rating.

This a charming B&B a real gem hideaway .

We truely enjoyed our stay at Joya, two nights were just to short. Will definitely recommend staying at Joya to anyone planning to visit Nelson. The room was lovely with everything you need and extras like the fire place and free internet. Paulina makes an excellent breakfast which I would highly recommend and she realy went out of her way to make our stay more comfortable.
