The units are very comfortable and well equiped, kitchens have full facilities and everything you would need to cook a meal. Rooms are very clean and well serviced daily. Andrew was very helpful and accomodating. Due to our work visit being in high season we had to shift to various units but all of these were to the same high standard. I would definately go back there again.More

We spent two nights at the Arcadia Motel, we had a lovely unit. Very clean and it had everything you needed. The location is just great and would definitely stay here again. The owners were very pleasant and helpful.

The owners of this property went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Great location, very nice clean and comfortable rooms and extremely good value for money. Would recommend to anyone staying in Nelson - wish we could have stayed longer.

We spent two nights at the Arcadia Motel and were very pleased with our room, the cleanliness and the location. We were especially happy with Andy, the owner, who was extremely helpful with tips on where to go, what to do and where to eat. We would definitely recommend this place and would return ourselves.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was really nice rooms. We stayed in no 1 which were seperate from the other. Owner and his wife went out way to guide us to closeby restaurants and attractions. Location was great walking distance to beach and restaurants. Complex had a pool.

Just after Christmas i took my in laws from the UK up to Nelson for a few days, travelling with a 6 week old and 2 year old my husband I thought it might be a nightmare staying in a motel but it couldn't be anymore different at the Arcadia, Both Andy and Jena were fantastic to deal with and the rooms were right next door to each other for my inlaws so my 2 year old daughter was able to go between the 2 rooms which was really safe and comforting.
The rooms themselves were beautifully furnished and very clean, (The linen especially) was so nice having a little kitchen to deal with the kids things too.
They also have a swimming pool which is all fenced and safe for the children, was so nice dipping our feet in when hot and my daughter went into the kiddy pool too.
I'm so glad we made it up for a few days and stayed there as it was very family friendly we felt very relaxed and I would highly recommend it.
