Looking for a one night airport stopover, we chose this hotel because it was half the price of the Hilton which is located directly at the airport terminal.
Despite the 4Km distance from the airport, we were comforted by a free courtesy bus. However the courtesy bus only runs between around 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock in the morning and likewise again around the same periods in the evening (check for exact timings). It does however run continuous during these periods. We therefore had to take a taxi as it was 10PM.
On arrival at this old 1960s block we were courteously greeted at reception and grabbed a beer in the rather dull and dated bar area.
There is nothing in the surrounding area except residential apartments, however there are a few shops and a Netto supermarket opposite for provisions.
Lift to all floors, the corridors are a little prison cell like with the bedroom doors opening outwards onto the corridor. Room keys were electronic.
Rooms were clean but exceptionally basic. No safe or ironing board, the wardrobe was minuscule, however rooms were spacious enough to store suitcases.
No a/c and the radiator was difficult to control.
Room comprised: expensive minibar with nibbles, phone, flat screen TV, desk with chair, reading lights and a very basic but clean bathroom with over bath shower and 'sticky' shower curtain. Shower mixer tap was a little hit & miss, so was either too hot or too cold. A fixed hairdryer was available and basic toiletries with soap / shower gel via wall mounted dispensers
Breakfast room was again a little basic in decor but functional. The hot & cold buffet offered a wide and plentiful choice of well prepared food and drinks and opened at 5:30AM, to accommodate airport passengers.
Large chargeable car parking on site. Reasonable transport links to Copenhagen centre.
In summary, a cheaper (but still not cheap for the standard) overnight stopover but not a place I would of wished to stay longer.
