Upon check arrival at A’Famosa Villa no 1266- we were not greeted by anyone and the villa gates were left opened and unattended.There was flies everywhere and not a suitable environment to take your family on a holiday( as advertised on their website ) the kitchen area was absolute filth! ( pots and pans were in disgusting conditions) The cupboard underneath the sink was coated in dirt and residue left over by previous guests and not cleaned by THE A FAMOSA VILLA STAFF.Moreover, there was strands of hair inside the fridge and it was not even cold thus making it impossible for us to store our food and beverages. The toilet seat was broken and as for the pool area; filled with cigarette buds and dirt all over the pool! It was not cleaned prior to the arrival of the guests and COMPLETELY FALSELY ADVERTISED. I suggest that if you were to come here you DO NOT stay at this villa but stay ELSEWHERE.The villa is a complete rip off and falsely advertised on their website. THE WHOLE VILLA NO 1266- IS REPULSIVE.

short getaway to farmosa and stayed in the villa...Not really up to our expectations while staying there... there is nothing at all for you to do at night...,the only thing we can do is enjoyed our swimming pool.

There were no clear instructions on checking in for villa or hotel. We queued up for a long time at the hotel only to be informed that villa check in is at another site. That should have been made clear on the website. The villa looks very nice on the website but in reality is very run down and not well maintained. The basic necessities were provided but the doors were not well secured. One can easily kick the doors to force them open. There were insufficient places to hang towels or swimsuits, considering the villa has an attached pool. Outdoor furniture by the pool would be nice for parents to supervise their children swimming. The supposedly private pool was not private but can be seen by neighbouring villas which were closeby. The houses were close to each other and a family day group next door was very noisy till late evening. Breakfast at the club house was satisfactory but more variety would have been nice. The pastry and dishes served were cold except for those made on site (eg eggstation). However, I want to praise the staff for excellent management of the large crowd as we were a group of 10 and had to queue up for our table during the peak school holidays. Their efficiency made the waiting short and sweet.
