Dinner for a group, followed by breakfast for an even larger group the next morning, was efficiently and pleasantly managed by two different staff teams. We were able to linger over our meals on both occasions without feeling pressured to leave. My meals were both excellent, and reasonably priced. Others present seemed to be happy.

Everything this about this place it awesome except for one thing – This rude old lady that works there whos names started with a K (I forget her name) She was so rude to her staff as well as in her general speech to all customers. “Can I clear your table or not!” She was so unpleasant that I didn’t wanna stick around for the awesome looking Honeycomb Caramel cake I was wanted so badly for Dessert, but I couldn’t handle being served by her for another second. That aside everything else about this place is wonderful. A MUST IF YOU’RE ONLY PASSING THROUGH TOWN. Just ask for someone lovely to serve you. Like “Patience” she was lovely. This food is a little pricey - The Seafood platter was $130 but great so well worth the money & drinks took a little while to get to our table.

Nice venue and they have a good breakfast eg: eggs florentine for about $13 so with a pot of tea or coffee $16 - pretty good value for full table service and no complaints good size meal. Friends had fruit salad, french toast - that looks delicious.

The main meal was delightful- Portland Bay Bug Tortellini and Herb Crusted Lamb. Dessert was also nice but very expensive ($16) for what it was- Creme Brûlée and Apple and Rhubarb Tart. Service was questionable however as the waitress seemed to have a superiority complex and was very accusatory after she had misheard the order and ordered three desserts instead of two. Overall however, it was a nice dining experience with a great view!

Has great views, but the food is over priced. The cake is fantastic but again pricey. All in all you could get similar service and quality from one of the many other places along Bentinck St, Portland.
