Excellent value accommodation located relatively close to town in the Northern suburbs. Staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. Not much in the way of eateries in the local area beyond a couple of takeaways (the usual suspects) within a couple of minutes walk. Having said that, at the back gate is the entrance to the Enfield RSL which does a great Schnitzel (beef or chicken), fish and chips or calamari. The rooms front onto the main North Road which can be a little noisy particularly Friday and Saturday night at least in the upstairs room that I stayed in.

Room tip: Try to keep away from the upstairs room facing the Main North Road.

As budget accommodation goes, the Enfield Motel rates with the best I've stayed at. Clean, comfortable and perfect for what we were looking for. My friend and I stayed there on and off for about 9 nights and couldn't have been more impressed. The management and staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The motel is located on a main public transport route so getting from A to B was easy and there are plenty of fast food and drink outlets within easy walking distance.
Highly recommended for the budget conscious traveller.

Room tip: Rooms at the back of the carpark are less noisy but because of the main road out front, traffic can sometimes be heard.

Located on the north suburbs of Adelaide which was ideal for our road trip as a stopping point as we didn't want to be caught up in city rush hour traffic the next morning for our onward journey to port Lincoln. It's placed on a very busy main road but we couldn't hear the traffic in our room (room 6). good car park that the main back gate gets locked @ 10pm ish (please note front entrance still open). Excellent wifi which was free, Room was clean and basic, kettle, fridge and microwave in the room. Power full shower but limited on how much hot water available. We had a very comfortable bed and aircon worked well. Deco dated and well used, however at $103 per night can't really complain. Didn't pay for breakfast as just as easy to go to Mcdonalds. Petrol station across the road for other supplies which again is idea if you are wanting something as basic place to rest when driving several hundred kilometres.

Sure its on a busy road - the property is dark 60's brick and if you blink, in typical madcap Adelaide traffic I missed the entrance driveway so took a loop left at the corner got me there... Adelaide drivers seem madcap - is it road rage or do they just dislike cars with out of state number plates!

I was impressed with the Enfield Motel unit... an honest price and provide what can be described as a huge bed - king size. Comfortable - VERY!
Great shower - clean and with excellent towels with shampoo etc...
Secure parking and the gate at back is closed off at night...
Food - not that takeaways are my thing, neighbours are Rays Outdoors then a McDonald's alongside - Red Rooster over the road.

A decent work table for paperwork - ironing board and all the stuff that you need on the road.
Pleasant and helpful reception staff - as another reviewer said...."Good cheap place in North Adelaide”... That says it all, give them a try...

Having read the excellent reviews i was able to find on the internet regarding this motel i booked 2 staff members in who were going to Adelaide for work. Upon their return to work I was highly diappointed to find out that it was not as it was potrayed in the reviews. Our staff found the motel room to be very poor due to the beds were very uncomfortable and they were unable to get a proper nights sleep. Also the walls between the rooms had little to no soundproofing and they were able to hear all noises from the rooms on either side as well as the noise from people going up and down the stairs. The hot water in the room was very limited and meant that one got to have a hot shower and the other didn't. Due to the dirty nature of the work they were doing they were unable to have short showers as at the end of each day they were covered in metal fibres and grease and needed a good length shower in order to remove it all. The only positive they had was that the location was brilliant for our needs on this trip. This however is not enough to justify the price that we paid for this accommodation. Our next trip we will be using different establishment in the area. Our staff fly all over Australia and the world for work on our client's sites and until now we have not had a any issues with any accommodation that we have booked so it is very disappointing that this trip this accommodation turned out to be nothing like it states on their website and in reviews.
