We have stayed at the Fraser Lodge Resort several times over the last 6 months, each and every time we have enjoyed our time there. Even when we stayed for a week there was heaps of stuff to do. We have stayed each time in the Family Villas and have found them to have every thing that you need and extras that you would not expect. (like the real king size bed - not tow singles zipped together!). Our child loved the bunks in the kids bedroom (it even had its own tv) The fridge is full sized and you can easily cook up a storm in the kitchen. I also liked that you can drive up beside your villa which makes it easy to load and unload all of your gear

Room Tip: family villas are a good size and easily sleep a family of 4

We have been staying at Frazer Lodge for the last 3 christmas's.
We love the park, the staff & the location. The central location of the park is one of the highlights, allowing easy & quick access to a range of facilities.
But we did have a shock when we went to book our holiday for next christmas vacation. We were informed that the prices for powered sites was to rise by 20%, & because we have a 11hr trip home we hire a cabin for the last night to allow us to pack our camper up & get away early the next morning, but the cabin will also be 20% dearer.
I am hoping that the steep increase in prices, will go towards a bigger main swimming pool, we (& others) find that when there is more that around 15 people in it, it becomes fairly crowded. The camp kitchen could do with a renovation as well. The lack of water pressure at the main sink has been like that for 3 years.
This is not a shot at the staff at the park, its at the owners. They set the rates
We will be back, but for only 10 nights this time not the usual 14 nights

Really clean, cozy and up-to-date holiday park. Only negative thing is that our campingspot were situated under a big tree where the flying bats (or whatever you call them here in Australia) where having a big party every night including using our van as they toilet. But it isn't that bad that we can wash the car when we are leaving. But as i said really nice and good value for your money.

Really nice clean park. Close to the esplanade and shops. Our boys (12 & 15yrs) really enjoyed the park. Staff very friendly. Powered sites were a decent size, too.
We have been travelling for 6 weeks and it was the dearest park we stayed in but I think you do get what you pay for.
If we ever come that way again, we would stay there again. Recommend it.
