Jane and Quentin are lovely people and the perfect B&B hosts. They made us feel relaxed and like nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are great with stunning views and the extra touches like the free wifi, hot tub, complimentary wine and home made cookies really made a difference. The breakfast was also the best we had during our 3 week stay in NZ and so if you are planning a stay in Kaikoura I would recommend staying here.

We spent one night at Nikau Lodge en route to Nelson, and what a great first night of our holiday it was! The lodge is lovely, really comfortable and welcoming. Our room had an amazing sea view and fantastic, organic products in the bathroom. We appreciated the delicious home made cookies and enjoyed a complimentary beer from the guest fridge. Highly recommended!

Jane and Quentin are the perfect B&B hosts. Their rooms are beautifully appointed with lots of extra touches that put a smile on your face - stunning views, complimentary beer & wine, yummy cookies, free wifi and a mouth-watering breakfast menu that changes every day. You couldn't hope for a more relaxing place to stay. We stayed in the dolphin room which has one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Nikau Lodge. I can echo what a lot of other reviewers have said: Jane and Quintin were really hospitable and have given a lot of thought and effort to making Nikau a first rate B&B. Make sure you ask for a room with a view - we stayed in 'dolphin' and the views were simply stunning. Our only regret is that we had only one night there - there is a lovely garden and a hot tub which would be worth making the most of if you can stay any longer. Fantastic breakfasts too!

We stayed with Jane and Quentin during our last day of a two week honeymoon and loved it! They were amazing host and the room was perfect. When we return to NZ, the Nikau Lodge will be on our itinerary for sure!
