“Dolphins everywhere!”
Reviewed March 19, 2014

What a great experience we had! A large pod of dolphins were feeding in the South Bay and we arrived in time to spend over an hour right in the midst of them. Our guide was fantastic, and gave thorough and professional preparation to us. It was our first time to sea kayak and we couldn't stop smiling and laughing with the joy of being among the jumping and splashing dolphins! Highly recommend this company!

“Cool!”

It was an awesome experience; even my mum was able to get the hang of it (eventually).
We all had a blast! The two guides were very knowledgable and they made a great experience even better!

“Seals, Penguins, and Albatross”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

We had two brilliant guides in our tour of 10 people. During the kayak we came close to swimming penguins, spotted seals on the rocks and then were lucky enough to have the seals swim up to us and fish beneath us for salmon. Being such a clear day, we were able to venture further into the bay near the huge Albatross birds. Such a beautiful experience!!!

“Excellent Kayak Experience”
Reviewed February 19, 2014

As inexperienced kayakers we found this activity much less daunting than we thought it might be. Our guide, Tyler, was fun, friendly and knowledgable about the wildlife. Getting up close to a few seals and penguins was fantastic, although the kayaking itself was a highlight - the water was really clear and we were lucky to have calm conditions. Tyler gave us all the guidance and instruction we needed to make the morning a great experience. We would definitely do this activity again next time we are in Kaikoura.

“Good guide, great chances to see seals”
Reviewed February 7, 2014

The morning we woke up it was raining so hard we assumed the trip would be cancelled. We arrived at the office and they said we could still go out if we wanted too. We got kitted up in really warm kayak gear and walked down to the sea. We had a really nice guide who thought we were crazy to head out in the rain but we kept it fun and entertaining. Seeing the seals was amazing, they were jumping, swimming around the boats and much more playful than when we kayaked in the Abel Tasman national park. A great morning.
