“Pricey”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

When we arrived we were shocked at the prices of entry being a young family and on a budget. On entry you can appreciate the great price and effort it would have taken to set this establishment up. A good experience and one of those things you would do once to say you have done it.

“Great views and fanatstic to be looking down on the birds, they even thought of the physically disadvantaged.”
Reviewed May 26, 2013

This place is still fairly new so can only get better as some of the bush matures. Its still great though to be able to be up in amongst the canopy and appreciate the bird life up close. Fantails, tui, bell birds, wax eyes all in abundance with kereru flying between the trees. I think we heard a kaka!
This place has also geared itself to those confined to wheelchairs, with ramps and gentle inclines making it easy access for those who have walking difficulties. Getting to and from the visitor centre not an issue if you do have walking difficulties as there is a courtesy shuttle service (golf buggy) that will take you to the entrance and pick you up at the end (its a short but steepish incline to the entrance). The gantries are generally flat and most people would manage it with little difficulty (apart from the tower which has 106 steps to the top which you don't have to do). Plenty of space to stop and appreciate the view - don't forget your binoculars!

“Amazing views!”
Reviewed May 11, 2013 via mobile

Ok so I have a serious fear of heights so didn't quite 'enjoy' being up so high but I have to say it's well worth being a little scared just to see the beautiful views. The group I was travelling with braced it to the top of the tower and said it was amazing & their photos prove this to be true. The kids loved it. Restaurant was very nice for some food and a calming tea afterwards.

“Great views”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

This was fun although there was nothing else to do there. It is a relatively new attraction and I feel that with time this can only improve. Still worth a visit though and looking down from the very top is pretty amazing!

“Will be better in a few years”
Reviewed May 8, 2013

The plants need to grow up a bit and then it will be really good but until then it's a bit expensive for what it is.
