My husband and I, together with two friends, were lucky enough to dine at Topsail during our recent visit to New Zealand. Located above the small Onerahi Yacht Club with views across the bay,this restaurant has all the ingredients to keep their customers coming back. Friendly, attentive service, a great atmosphere and a menu that made one want to order every dish. I chose the slices of duck breast roasted pink on crisp grilled focaccia and a sliver of light creamy blue cheese with poached cherries and oregano for my entree. It was delicious. The menu tempted all of us to have three courses and we couldn't remember when we last had such a fantastic meal. Thank you, Ian and Debbie and our delightful local photographer/waiter for making our evening such an enjoyable one. It's a long way from Scone, New South Wales, but rest assured we will be back one day. Hilary and Peter
