I eat here regularly and always find the service excellent. Some nights it can be unexpectedly busy and there is a bit of a wait, but no problem, staff always advise of any delay and suggest meals that can be prepared sooner if there is a timing issue.

This place is halfway between being a pub/restaurant. We actually ate here twice. We had a light lunch of toasted sandwiches which were really good, & based on the style of the place we decided to try an evening meal. It wasn't too bad, though we did have to wait a while as they had 3 largish groups in before us. The ambience is quite good & I would eat here again, but not necessarily if it was for a special occasion.

I visited as part of a large group for my grandmother's birthday on a Saturday evening. We'd booked in advance so we were seated promptly and given menus. Service was very slow, with the entree of breads and dips taking close to half an hour to arrive, and we asked twice when the mains would be delivered before they finally turned up. There were only four other tables full at the time so unsure if the chef was simply underprepared to cater for a large group, or if others were given priority. Presentation of food was very good and the plates were warmed prior to delivery to the table. Generous portions and very nice flavours. Coffee and dessert arrived fairly promptly - by this stage we were almost the last people left in the restaurant. Reasonably priced for both quality and quantity of food, really only let down by service.

This was one of the first meals I had upon arriving to New Zealand and thoroughly enjoyed it. Amazing food that felt very light and healthy, and very good value for money.
Despite being busy with the lunchtime rush, the staff were efficient and quick with getting the food to the customers.
And I thoroughly enjoyed trying some of their cakes as well!!!

This is located in the centre of town. lots of parking, walkable from the central shopping area.

It was a pleasant establishment, with a nice buzz.

We had a chicken "sandwich", a seafood platter and a side of seasonal vegetables. Both meals came with a side of chips. the seafood platter came with a side salad.

the food was OK. the chicken "sandwich" was pleasant. the chicken was OK, the bread was nice. the seafood on the seafood platter looked and tasted like it was from a supermarket freezer, it was edible but even as a lover of seafood, i'd never order it again. i suppose i should have asked. the chips were good. the salad was OK but undressed and unseasoned, the side of veges was completely unseasoned and waterlogged.

The servers were quite good. freindly and quick. but we were not offered a dessert menu or coffees at the end of the meal, we had to ask. We actually had to pick up a dessert menu ourselves. The restaurant was busy, but surely these are basics. We don't blame the staff, as this seems to be a training and standards issue.

It was OK, but we won't return.
