The Windermere Berry Farm has been going for more than 40 years but it's only recently that they've opened a cafe on site. They specialise in berries (obviously) so the majority of items on the menu have a berry component, including the drinks. It's a lovely setting outside of the city and very quiet, which is great for catching up with relatives who may have trouble hearing in more crowded settings. The staff are very friendly; on my most recent visit we were offered free chocolate dipped strawberries, and the chance to taste test the new Ranui berry while we waited for our order. I had a delicious caramel oaty slice and my parents had freshly baked scones, and the portion sizes are very generous! The mango smoothie I ordered came out at the same time as the coffees, which was much appreciated because from past experience non-coffee drinks are often the thing that gets delayed. A lovely way to spend the afternoon and I'd return any time. Also an easy way to ensure that you're buying only the freshest berries straight from the source, at the stalls next to the cafe.
