“server seemed like they were having a bad day”
Reviewed December 19, 2013

this place is normally a great one great location and friendly staff i must have struck them on a bad day as it seemed like they didn't want to be there and that serving us was the last thing they wanted to do, the coffees were average and the food was a little better. not the best experience but will definitely go back and give them another shot as i am sure i just caught them on a bad day

“Best of coffee AND food!!”
Reviewed December 18, 2013

Lots of cafes have great barista coffee but not great food to accompany or visa versa, But MINT nail both the perfect cappuccino plus amazing cakes and slices. I recommend the chocolate cheesecake or the chocolate berry brownie - absolutely divine!! My favourite cafe!

“Excellent breakfast”
Reviewed November 23, 2013

I had the best French toast ever. Delicious compote over lovely french toast...just perfect. My husband and son had the big breakfast and said it was delicious. The plate was full of food, the mushrooms and tomatoes, delicious, as well as the usual eggs, bacon ciabatta and black pudding. This was Sunday brunch.
We sat near the playground but there were no children. There were lots of people and it was a good atmosphere. Will definitely be having breakfast there every time we go to Wanganui again, which will be quite often.

“Getting it right in Wanganui”
Reviewed September 22, 2013

Change of name and a change of direction, better selection of food and wine, beter pricing and better atmosphere. Something different for Wanganui than the typically average, everything taste the same, everyone serves hte same menu. Good coffee, good service and nice to see something a little different. Keep it up.

“Good value”
Reviewed September 11, 2013

We went in for brunch and found the service very good. Apart from the usual offerings they also had items on the menu such as kidneys which was a welcome change. The food was nicely presented and coffee excellent. Price wise is very reasonable indeed
