The best thing about Tamara Lodge was the fact that they had beds available for 5 when we rocked up at 9pm on a Friday night on our way through.
I certainly wouldnt want to stay here any longer than one night though if sharing a dorm room.
The beds were crammed into the rooms, with no shelving to unpack into - you had to unpack to under your bed in the room I was in. The bed was also very short, and had a solid footboard - not so much fun when you are nearly 6ft tall! Even with the window open the room felt stuffy.
There are also only three toilets in the entire lodge, two of which share rooms with showers. Not so cool if you need to go urgently!
I gather it has some off-street parking available, but there was a good amount of on-street available too.
In general, I would go back, but only in the same sort of situation - passing through for a single night.
