about a 15 - 20 minute drive from the main town.
It was a very well paid out park, with public (free) BBQs, lots of short walking trails, lovely pond with a variey of native birds, plenty of open spaces for games and picnics, some nice specialty gardens (herbs, rhododendrons). it is really well signposted as well.
toilets were clean, by park standards.
There is an area for frisbee golf!
the orchid house and other indoor plant areas were closed at 4:30, which feels a bit early. The BBQs really need to be cleaned before use..
