Margaret River has more than its fair share of great restaurants but this is one spot you shouldnt miss. The food is exceptional... flavour flavour flavour. The wine on tap experience was a great way to taste some of the variety on offer and gave us a very relaxed feel at the table with plates being mostly shared too. Staff were helpful and professional. The bill was less than we expected which made for a great day.

We did a long Sunday lunch there recently. The carafe's of wine flowed and we worked our way through most of the menu. The most pleasant surprise was a bill of $500 for 12 people which was amazing for the amount we ate and drunk. Good food can go hand in hand with good value.

We went with friends for a late lunch. The food is excellent, and wine on tap makes a very different experience to being in a pub. In fact the beer isn't allowed to be on tap - some weird WA rule protecting us all from heavens knows what!

Anyway, the food is simple enough and delivered fast. The kingfish ceviche demanded a second serve, the Harissa chicken wings (something I would usually avoid) were juicy and tasty, the grilled octopus and chorizo was delish and the pizzas were also excellent.

We opted for the dry and savoury Rose by the half carafe, and it was just the thing for lunch, as much as the Chardonnay was enticing me. Fortunately, the friendly staff are willing to give you a taste of the wines on offer so you can get it right.

This place works well for a breezy relaxed lunch with friends - but be careful if you are driving as it would be easy to have one glass of wine to many and fall foul of the law (or worse).

Recommended, especially as we paid only $40 per head for a great lunch, cheapish for this quality in WA.

We visited here with friends on a Saturday night in March, whilst staying at Edge of the Forest. It was very busy but we enjoyed great service from our waitress Anna, who explained how the sharing plates worked. Everything we had tasted great. We enjoyed the wine from the tap, which was of a great standard. Would definitely return if in the area again.
