“Margaret River Gem - outstanding service”
Reviewed April 10, 2014 via mobile

The service at this restaurant blew us away. Friendly, efficient but well informed and charming. On arrival we were seated and menus placed. A large group nearby we're not unpleasantly noisy however two staff attended our table enquiring if we would like to move. We were reseated quietly and without fuss.
The menu is well balanced, local fare is evident. I went for scallops and venison chorizo starter. Exquisite.
Followed by pork belly on red cabbage with Apple and mash. A great German treat.
A little big too much garnish and plating decoration failed to detract from well cooked, seasoned sync presented food. Not to be missed.
By the way this is a BYO restaurant.

“Amazing!!”
Reviewed April 6, 2014

The staff, service and food at the place is amazing! We had scallops and oysters to start and were cooked perfectly. To follow we had rack of lamb and venison which again was cooked to perfection and the dessert just topped it off! The best meal I've had since living in Australia! Highly recommend!

“Tasty but expensive / small serves”
Reviewed April 4, 2014 via mobile

Dined here last night, the food was lovely and tasty (except the lamb rack for $35 was all fat with little meat) it's quite expensive. $18 for 4 garlic prawns. Decor and ambience was good.

Food was exquisite. Had trouble deciding what to choose - my criteria of a good menu. Potato douphinoise was excellent.
